where dreams come true

With those unfortunate events, I am still headed on vacation.
Disney World!

Yes, at 26 you can still go to Disney and be excited about it. So excited.
My friend has never been so it is going to be really exciting for her. We are hopping all over Disney, Universal, and wherever else.
What am I most excited for? Harry Potter World! Yes. I love HP. I have loved it since I was a 7th grader and will always love it.

Although my thumb is a little less than useful, I have a small splint on it so it doesn't get hit. I am doing just fine now, sucks but doing alright. I will blog more when I get back from vacation next Monday. Until then, enjoy the week!

accidents happen

Some unfortunate events occurred Friday night.
As I type this, it really isn't that easy with an injured left hand. Thank goodness it wasn't my right hand.

I am hoping, begging that my car isn't totaled. It actually doesn't look that bad but the airbags deployed, which saved me from a world of even more hurt. The knee bags also deployed. I am doing okay. A little banged up and sore but doing alright. I sprained my thumb, a few burns, and some cuts on my face; but alive.

What happened?
Well, I was driving through an intersection and someone made a left turn and the guy after him made the left turn as well. So I crashed into the side of his car. Is it my fault? No. He turned in front of my car when he shouldn't have so it's not. He tried telling the police officer it was my fault because it was a red light, well it wasn't dude, it had just turned yellow. Luckily for me, an off duty police officer and his wife saw it and stayed there with me to talk to the officer.

Right before vacation on Tuesday, ugh. I have to go to the doctor Monday and I hope I don't have to wear this while in Disney. If I do, I will have a terrible tan line. I am happy I am okay and nothing worse happened. I am hoping my car is okay, I love that car. I know it sounds crazy but this is the first car I have ever owned that was manual and I paid for it myself. It reminds me a little of him and it holds that special place for me.

I sound a little nuts but I'm hoping things work out.

Dear Someone,

It's been a while and I hope you know that I still think of you once in a while. I hope you are doing well and everything in your life is working itself out the way you want. I think of you at random moments, smile, and move on with my day.

Although things fell apart, I hope that one day our paths cross again and we can reconnect. Reconnect a friendship which was once extremely strong, I could always count on you for anything. I am sure if I needed you today, you would still be there even through all of this. We find others throughout our lives that forever change us as people and you were one of them. My life would not be the same if it were not for you and I am so glad I met you and was able to spend some of my life with you.

I wish you the best.
I loved you very much and hold a very special place in my heart for you.
I hope one day you will forgive me for whatever wrong I have done to you and know that I forgive you.
We all need to do what is right for us and I can not blame you for it.
You are capable of doing extraordinary things, remember that.

So the chapter closes. I hope we both find someone who will spark that fire in us who will make us smile. We deserve it.

busy bee

My posts have been inconsistent due to my drained energy.

I have not caught up on Project Life. I haven't even looked at it in weeks.
My summer class is so whatever because I have already graduated, so taking it seriously is really difficult. I need to keep my 4.0 though so I will be getting an A.

Work has been obnoxious. I have been working my butt off and it is crazy.
I know, welcome to what a real job feels like. I was so caught off guard. I am used to casual days and those have been few and far between. Bigger clients mean more work and more stress.
I really am going to miss this job when I leave, really miss it. I love the people I work with and the people in the building. I am a social butterfly so I know a lot of people who work in this building.

Everyday life has become a blur.
My weekends are packed with tons of stuff with awesome friends. This weekend is no exception. I will be spending Friday and Saturday night in AC for two different birthdays. I am going to be exhausted. My brother is in town for a few days but I won't see him much.

A tropical storm is headed our way. Lots of rain.
It won't rain on my parade this weekend.

june goals

Summer is my favorite.
It means nice weather, flip flops, great movies, and so so so much more.

I plan on enjoying every minute of this summer.
It has been the first summer in a very long time where my mission is the beach. Every. Chance. I. Get.
This is precisely the reason why I need to move to California. My need for the beach and sun is almost unbearable. Okay, so maybe it's not unbearable, but it is pretty bad. Friday was my first time at the beach this summer and the best part of it? I got to go again on Saturday. I spent time with some friends I haven't seen in a while and it was wonderful.

I already know this summer is going to be amazing.


Now some goals...

+ learn & practice calligraphy
+ spend time at the beach at least once every weekend (weather permitting)
+ tone up and continue to workout
+ apply to a minimum of five jobs a week
+ find comfort with who I am and what I want

The first and last are two important ones. Calligraphy sounds so strange but after perusing Instagram I want to learn. I ordered this kit from Etsy and I think I am going to look for this book tomorrow. I am excited to try it out. The last goal is important because I am still so confused about what to do with my life and what I want. I find myself lost in thought over nonsense and it is time for me to focus on me. No one else.
